This CLE will teach the basics of bitcoin, ether and other digital currencies, the new corporate fundraising scheme called an initial coin offering and the legal and practical uses for the technology underpinning these currencies, blockchain.
This CLE helps lawyers understand the legal issues with digital currencies. Special attention is given to contract law, securities laws, banking and currency regulations, and the ethical issues involved when lawyer accept Bitcoin as payment for legal services.
