CLE Credit for Lawyers Who Hate CLEs.
Let’s face it, CLE sucks. It just does. We really don’t even need to get into all the reasons why. If you are a lawyer you know it already. The problem is, CLE is also required.
At Outkick CLE, we know that you don’t want to have to do CLE – we are lawyers too – and we wish we could do something to keep you from having to do it. But we can’t. You’re stuck doing it. Sorry.
So, since you have to do CLE, we do our best to come up with CLEs that are actually interesting. Not just interesting for a CLE, that’s not a very high standard. We want to create CLEs that you would be interested in whether or not you had to do CLE – like a really great podcast but where you earn CLE credit.
Our customers have noticed the difference. After one of our live events, an Atlanta partner said, “I did 1/6 the email I normally do during CLE. This was actually good.” Another attorney wrote us to say, “I wasn’t sure what to expect from your CLEs but I actually learned more than normal. Probably because I paid attention to your CLEs!”
We think you’ll notice the difference too. We teamed up with Above the Law to come up with a bundle of CLE that we think you’ll enjoy. It’s a great way to get some credit and try Outkick CLE. For just $49, the ATL bundle includes the following courses:
How the Supreme Court Changed College Sports – 1 hour – approved for credit in many states – Taught by sports writer and Fox Sports commentator Clay Travis. Clay walks you through how a Supreme Court opinion led to the massive amounts of money that are flowing into college sports. All of the recent conference expansion and realignment can be traced back to this 1 opinion.
Pot Law 101 – 1 hour – approved for credit in many states – Taught by Above the Law contributor Hilary Bricken, this is a basic overview of some of the legal issues faced by companies in the legal cannabis industry. This touches on banking, real estate, and intellectual property law issues.
The Craft Beer CLE – 1 hour – approved for credit in many states – This is the first CLE in the history of CLE that includes an actual brewery tour in the recording. Melinda Sellers teaches this CLE on the legal issues faced by craft breweries. Melinda has a lot of experience representing producers of alcohol and her husband also happens to be an owner of Good People Brewing Company in Birmingham, Alabama.
These CLEs are guaranteed to be some of the least miserable CLEs you have ever watched. If you don’t agree, just send us an email and we will give you a full refund. It’s that easy.
